OUR FAVORITE CHARITIES--- 2007 !
  Glenn Koenen,
Circle of Concern

      Rev. Bill Williams,
      The Waymakers
At our Annual Christmas Party, December 11, 2007, the St. Louis Pond of the Honorable of Blue Goose, International, presented  checks of $3,000 each, to two local charities.  They are Circle of Concern, Valley Park and  The Waymakers, in South St. Louis City.   Both have food pantries;  Waymakers also has a daily soup kitchen.

We also donated $1000 to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Christi Roeder, our October Guest Speaker, with her talk about how diabetes affects her, gave the board a reason to make this donation.

The Pond thanks all the generous Ganders and sponsors who have made this happen.  We will in future years continue with contributions to worthwhile charities.

Dear BLUE GOOSE,

Thank you, thank you and thank you!  for your very generous gift of $3000.00 and for inviting my wife, Thuy, and me to your Christmas Party. The party was really nice, a nice social outing and gathering of the flock.

Our needs at the WAYMAKERS are great and your contribution comes at a good time for us to help the poor, homeless and hadicapped people.  How blessed we are!

We get all the “ thank you’s”  from the 2500 people who receive food boxes, lunch at the soup kitchen and clothing, but it’s folks like you who need to be thanked..

May everyone have a Blessed Christmas and Prosperous New Year, I pray.

With love,

Bill Williams
